Why use BMFL
Not just another link dump.
The internet has thousands of "free resource" lists. Most are outdated, auto-scraped, or quietly monetized. BMFL is different — here's how.
Human-curated, always
No scraping, no automation. Every link is added by a person who used it. That's why you won't find abandoned SaaS trials, broken embeds, or "free" tools with a $49/mo paywall on the second click.
Grouped, not just listed
Five top-level groups, 20 focused categories, sections inside each one. You can go from "I want to watch something" to a specific streaming site in three clicks — no search required.
Safety-first indexing
We tell you when a site is ad-heavy, requires a VPN, or has sketchy download prompts. We're not here to send you somewhere harmful and call it 'free'. Starred picks are the ones we'd actually use ourselves.
Your list, your data
Bookmark anything with one click. No login, no sync — it lives in your browser. Export it as JSON whenever you want. Your bookmarks belong to you, not us.
Hand-picked by the community
Starred picks.
★ means it's been used, tested, and actually recommended — not just listed.

Questions & answers
Things people actually ask.
Real questions from users, with honest answers — not a list of softballs.
Who adds resources to BMFL?
Real users — not bots, not paid placements, not partner deals. Anyone can submit a resource through the Submit page. Every submission is manually reviewed before it goes live. We run a flat editorial policy: if a resource is genuinely free and passes quality checks, it gets listed. If it charges money, breaks, or turns sketchy, it gets removed.
What makes a resource get the ★ Star rating?
Stars aren't given lightly. A starred resource has to be consistently reliable, privacy-respecting, and genuinely better than its alternatives. Contributors nominate resources and the community reviews them over time. Think of it as a track record badge — it means the site has been tested repeatedly and never disappointed.
How is BMFL different from a simple link list?
Link lists go stale. BMFL is actively maintained — dead links get removed, new resources get added weekly, and every category has people watching it. We also group things sensibly (not just alphabetically), add descriptions that actually explain what a site does, and surface the best picks so you don't have to dig. It's curation, not aggregation.
Are there any hidden costs or subscriptions?
Zero. BMFL itself is free with no account, no email, no paywall. Every resource listed is free to use at the access level we describe. If something requires a paid plan to unlock what we're linking to, it doesn't get listed. Period.
I found a dead link or a site that's now unsafe — what do I do?
Flag it on the Submit page using the 'Report' option. Dead links are removed within 24–48 hours of being reported. Sites flagged as unsafe (malware, phishing, aggressive ads) go through an immediate review and are pulled if the issue is confirmed. Community reports are our first line of defense.
Can I export or use the BMFL data?
Yes. The resource data is open. You can bookmark items to your personal list and export that as JSON at any time from the bookmarks panel — no account needed. The underlying data is also available on our GitHub for those who want to use it in their own projects.

Found something the internet deserves to know about?
BMFL grows one submission at a time. If you've stumbled on a free site, tool, or app that actually delivers — put it here. No account, no form hell, no waiting weeks for a reply.
